Ways to Give

With your help we can make a direct investment into the lives of several youth in the community and step by step create a better tomorrow through the development of leadership in the youth today!   

At SHIELD Mentor Program our goal is to match youth in need of an adult role model, with a caring volunteer.  In order to accomplish this, we need donations to meet our annual budget. The program budget, including all of the money used for activities, is supported by donations, grants and fundraisers. All donations directly support program expenses such as: volunteer screening and training, child intake and monthly events.

SHIELD Mentor Program is a member of Network for Good, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people become more involved in issues they care about most.  


To Give In-Kind Donations: To give an in-kind donation from our wish list!  


Workplace and employer contributions can be designated to SHIELD. Many companies offer Matching Gifts Program as a way to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these match dollar for dollar and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. Ask your company's personnel department to learn if they offer such a program. If they do, submit their form with your donation.
