Program Overview
The
SHIELD Mentor Program (SHIELD) gives adolescents the opportunity to attend monthly group mentoring workshops and
correspond weekly via e-mail on a variety of leadership development
topics to prevent
youth
from making poor life decisions, engage them into constructive
activities and enhance a positive future through an environment that is
exciting, inspirational, engaging and educational.
Recruitment Status
We are currently accepting applications for both volunteer mentors and mentees.
Fees
Our programs and activities are available at no cost for the 2010 - 2011 Program Year.
