Youth First ... a helping hand in the community!

 

Headquartered at the Folk Teen Center, Youth First offers citywide programs for at-risk teenagers. By our definition, all teens are potentially at-risk. Youth First partners with non-profit organizations and service providers for teenagers and their families.

Black Child Development


Founded in 1978 by Greensboro native, Sarah Walden Herbin, the Black Child Development Institute of Greensboro, Inc. is one of 33 affiliates of the National Black Child Development Institute.  Since their inception they have been steadfast in the mission of improving and protecting the quality of life of children, youth and families in the Greater Greensboro community.

The Hope Project

The Hope Project staff, volunteers, advisors, and community organizations work to bring together community members to build a network focused on steering kids away from gangs and gang related activity.
