Meet Our Founders

SHIELD Mentor Program (SHIELD) is a nonprofit organization that serves youth of Greensboro between the ages of 12 and 18 with a full range of mentoring programs and services, providing the skills for success in leadership development.  Precious and Antonio McKoy, Executive Director and Development Director respectively, founded the organization in January 2008 with the belief that providing youth with community role models serving as mentors could replace the lost of positive role models in the lives of youth and shape their behavior at home, at school, and in their personal lives.
